MEET THE TEAM
Hau5 Of Jack was conceived by Cliffy and K.A.Smallz, a couple of veterans of the Shropshire DJ circuit that have been working together for over 20 years. They met around 2003, working together in the week and sharing a local residency on the weekend (does anyone remember Churchills?!)
Around 2018 they were reunited as part of the Masquerade relaunch, and since then have worked together on numerous projects – including Ultimate Dance Radio, Seasunal Sessions, Loopfest, Masquerade and of course Hau5 Of Jack.
Also on the team we have resident DJ Koala T, and regular guests like Steveo, Lineton, Ducey and more.

CLIFFY
With a 30 year journey through underground music culture, it’s fair to say Cliffy has a few strings to his musical bow. From Hip-Hop to House, Jungle to Garage, and from Disco to Grime, Reggae to Rave….he’s worked his way through various scenes as a DJ and event promoter. His passion for new, and exciting music has given him the opportunity to work with a range of artists and brands, and helped build a CV to be very proud of. Although he’s primarily known for being a House DJ, his tastes are extremely varied – so he prides himself on being able to deliver excellent sets regardless of the genre.
He started DJing around 1992 as part of a collective, playing Reggae and Jungle in pubs and clubs around North Telford – but only started playing solo around 2003, playing local bars and parties. This is where he developed his reputation as a House DJ. Since then, whilst still flirting with many other genres, he has cemented a place as a respected DJ, with a decent local following.
Over the years, the career highlights have been:
– long residencies with other hugely successful brands such as Clique Exclusive, Code7, Retro, Bushwackers, Masquerade, Steppin’ etc.
– has played next to artists like Hannah Wants, DJ EZ, James Hype, Yousef, DJ SKT, Tom Shorterz, Low Steppa, Alistair Whitehead, Roger Sanchez, Marcus Nasty, Danny Rampling, Jon Of Pleased Wimmin and many more.
– currently a resident for Hau5 Of Jack, the classic House brand Masquerade, UK Garage aficionados Steppin’, and regularly plays for Shropshire based brands such as Seasunal Sessions and Disco Tech.
– winner of the Best DJ award at the 2024 Shropshire Music Awards

K.A.SMALLZ
K-A-Smallz started mixing records in 1993 on Technics 1210 turntables and has not looked back since. “Music became my life” says K.A. A regular face on the Shropshire DJ circuit for over 30 years, he has more than earned his stripes as an outstanding DJ with an ear for a crowd pleaser.
He started out playing at bars and friend’s parties, building up a reputation around Telford and Shropshire with his distinctive style and choice of music. From the days of vinyl to the modern digital age, K.A is a technical wizard that always gets the crowd moving.
K-A is known for his ability to mix a variety of genres such as House, Old Skool Classics, Tech House, Garage, Jungle, and Drum & Bass. He has a talent for creating a fun and energetic atmosphere with his sets, always aiming to invoke a nice, happy, feel-good vibe.
He has also had the privilege of playing alongside some massive headliners at various events, parties, clubs, and bars around the Midlands. Most recently, he can be found rocking floors at Masquerade, Hau5 Of Jack, and various other events such as Seasunal Sessions, Disco Tech, Echelon, and many more.
